The St. Joseph County Boys and Girls Clubs have a new leader.
Tuesday, Diamonte Radley was named the Youth of the Year.
Radley is a freshman at John Adams High School and is a member of the football team.
The 15-year-old was recognized for his leadership skills and his service to the community.
Talal Gharaballi, Ph.D. Executive Director, Boys & Girls Clubs says, “He's overcome obstacles in his life and yet maintained the dignity and honor while going to school and helping his family.”
Radley received a thousand dollar scholarship.
He says after high school he plans to attend college and study Mechanical Engineering.
