South Bend elementary students are making the grade, thanks to special tutoring program.
The program called "Cat," pairs kids up with students from Saint Mary's, Notre Dame, and IUSB.

Students are tutored four times a week, and each session lasts about an hour.
This is the first time Saint Mary's has participated in the tutoring program and the third year for Marquette.
It runs from September through May.
