A man and a teenager are dead following a hit and run accident in Mishawaka.

Police are asking for you help in finding the person responsible.

Mishawaka police tell us just after 12 A.M. Tuesday, a group of five people was walking along 12th street, near Campbell, when a car, witnesses say had been weaving back and forth, drove up on the shoulder of the road and hit two people in the group.

Dennis Evans, 43, of Mishawaka and 16-year old Adam Vickory were pronounced dead at the hospital.

Two other people in the group suffered minor injuries.

Police are now looking for the vehicle involved in the accident.

They say the car is described as a mid 90's Chevy Caprice or a Buick.

It is burgundy and the right side tail light is not working.

Police say it should have significant damage to the front passenger's side.
