Asprin May Prevent Heart Disease

An Aspirin a day can keep the doctor away according to a new study.

Researchers used data from a study of nearly 80-thousand women each filled out a questionnaire detailing their Aspirin use and any medical condition they had.

They found women who reported using Aspirin had a 25-percent lower risk of death from any cause the benefit was particularly high for heart disease deaths.

The study also shows that older women and those with cardiac risk factors had the greatest amount of protection.
