Eating Dark Chocolate Can Be Healthy

It may not be good for your teeth, but there are some benefits to chocolate.

A new study found a cup of dark cocoa can help improve the function of cells that line blood vessels, called Endothelial Cells.

45 people, who were overweight, but otherwise healthy, participated in the study.

Those who drank cocoa with no sugar had better Endothelial function, than those who had sugar or a placebo drink.

Antioxidant compounds called Flavonoids are considered the beneficial key in dark chocolate.
