Plenty of people came out to the Saint Joseph County 4H Fairgrounds this weekend for a hands on look at life on the farm during Ag Days.
It offered folks a chance to see what it is like to live and work on a farm.
People brought animals, crafts, and shared their real world experiences. “I like learning about them because they tell me a whole lot of stuff, like why horses neigh or something,” says Baird Ritter of Ritter Patch Farms. “There's a lot of people like me that are part time farmers that just do it for the fun of it, and as a side job. Just to make 'em more aware of in the subdivisions and in the city that this stuff's in your backyard."
Sunday’s events also included a tractor pull for five to ten year olds.
