Oregon-Davis has defeated Barr-Reeve 63-52 for the Indiana Class A boys basketball championship.
They are now the first school in Indiana history to capture boys and girls state championships in the same year.
Senior guards Justin Egger and Nathan Ferch led the top-ranked Bobcats. Egger, who hit all ten of his free throws, finished with 19 points and Ferch had 18. Senior center Brandon Johnston contributed 12 points, and he and Egger each had a game-high nine rebounds.
Oregon-Davis (27-1) kept Barr-Reeve in check with an impressive 20-of-25 mark from the free throw line, tying the state record for the most free throws made in a Class A title game.
