Regis Recovering Well From Heart Surgery
One week after triple bypass surgery, Notre Dame Alum Regis Philbin says he is through "the worst of it".
The 75-year-old called in to "Live With Regis and Kelly" Friday to give a health update.
Regis says he still has some pain in his heart, back, and leg and it especially hurts when he sneezes.
He is expected to be out another month, although, when he gets back, his dressing room may look a little different thanks to guest host Neil Patrick Harris.
Harris said, "Regis, your dressing room is wonderful, but I took out all this Notre Dame stuff and put in USC billboards."
Regis countered, "Uh oh! Gelman, I don't want anyone in my dressing room!"
Regis says painkillers have kept him up at night so he is been taking sleeping pills, causing him to wander the house, saying some strange things.
