Students at LaVille Elementary traded in their school books for some paint brushes and spray cans.
Friday, the student council painted both the principal and assistant principal blue.
It all started with a fundraiser for Riley Children's Hospital.
When the kids began collecting money, their goal was to raise $1,000, but they went above and beyond that by raising close to $2,500.
As a reward, they got to paint the principals.
Assistant Principal Randy Romer said, “They know it’s a great program down there, a great hospital. They're there for the kids, so we want to be a part of that.
Blue is a good color for me, so I’ll take it!”
The fun did not stop at face painting.
The student also won a Coca-Cola and donut party by playing their own version of the game of "Deal or No Deal”.
