A former Mishawaka Mayor looks to be the next St. Joseph County Commissioner.
Saturday, the Democratic Precinct Committee will vote for a new 3rd District County Commissioner.
However, 65-year-old bob Kovach is the only candidate in the running.
The former Mishawaka Mayor has received strong backing from party leaders.
Following Saturday's vote, Kovach will replace Cindy Bodle.
Who in turn is replacing John Lentz as the county's Chief Deputy Auditor.
Kovach's first day is April 9th.
