There is a warrant out for the arrest of Lakeville town clerk Casey Grove after he failed to appear in court.
Grove, 30, faces charges for breaking into a South Bend home his girlfriend was visiting last Thursday, and then assaulting her.
South Bend police say Grove saw Amber Eslinger, 20, through a window lying in bed with a friend, Clayton Fodrocy.
Police say Grove pushed in the screen and started punching Eslinger, banging her head on a table.
Grove could face even more charges.
He is also a reserve police officer, and when Lakeville police went to his home to get his service revolver they found drug paraphernalia.
