A South Bend man accused of beating another man to death will head to trial late this summer.
The young 22-year old Scott Wallace was in court today to learn about his plea deadline and trial date.
Wallace is charged with murdering 46-year-old Robert Plump last month when Plump was found lying in the street near the 600 block of West Marion.
Court documents say Wallace and plump were arguing about the cost of car repairs just hours before plump was attacked.
Wallace's trial date was scheduled for August 27th.
