Folks in North Liberty are enjoying their new library, one with a very distinct look.
The Saint Joseph County library system hosted a grand opening ceremony for their new North Liberty branch.
It is more than twice the size of the old branch, and was designed to look just like a house. “It's a very welcoming place, it's a place people are going to like to come to and stay and that's what we tried to achieve for this building,” Branch Manager, David Heidt explains.
The Market Street Branch actually opened almost two weeks ago.
Workers are also getting ready for another new branch, a branch in Lakeville is scheduled to open in September.
