A Michiana teen died in a car crash several years ago, but his promise continues to live on through others.
People in the community are remembering Eric Henry, a Marian High School senior, who had a Lenten promise to be more giving.
That is why St. Bavo's parish in Mishawaka hosted a donation drive for the Saint Vincent de Paul Society.
Bob Simmons, a member of St. Bavo’s Parish, said, “Every little bit helps and when you realize it's sometimes the little things, a bag of clothing, to conserve, maybe five families, that's the neat promise of being able to continue that. It's just the human side of this.”
