An Elkhart man was arrested after police say he beat a two-year-old.
The toddler's mother called Elkhart Police Friday morning because her son had a broken rib and severe bruising.
Police say the mother told them her boyfriend, Marco Gonzales Morales, caused the boy's injuries.
Morales was arrested and charged with battery with serious bodily injury.
The two-year-old was treated and released from the hospital and is now with his mother.
