Long Computer Sessions may Increase Blood Clot Risk

Those long hours at the computer could also put you at a higher risk for deadly blood clots, according to new research.

Researchers examined 62-patients admitted to the hospital with deep vein thrombosis.

About one-third were employees who spent hours at a computer.

Deep vein thrombosis can be fatal if part of the clot breaks off and blocks blood vessels in the lungs.
