Spring flowers will bring joy to tons of people across Michiana while helping the American Cancer Society at the same time.
Thursday is the Cancer Society's annual daffodil day’s event.
Workers were busy wrapping, rubber banding, and boxing thousands of daffodils.
Volunteers will deliver the flowers Thursday to people across the area as part of the fundraiser.
Mary Huszar of the American Cancer Society said, "The daffodil is the flower of hope for the cancer society. The proceeds go to many programs in St. Joseph County, reach to recovery, road to recovery."
Huszar added, "This is a very big part of our budget for the American Cancer Society."
In case you did not get a flower delivery, do not worry.
There are also a few places to pick up the daffodils including Merrill's Pharmacy in Mishawaka and the American Cancer Society office.
Daffodils cost $10 per bunch and vases cost $5.
