Warm Weather Cuts Down Heating Expenses

Mother Nature is saving folks some money.

Nipsco says home heating bills went down during the recent winter heating season.

Warm weather earlier this winter combined with lower wholesale natural gas prices helped reduce heating bills as much as 29%.

That is compared to the same time last year.

Nipsco defines the winter heating season as November through March.

The average customer paid $638 to heat their home this winter.
