Governor Granholm in Germany

Jennifer Granholm is in Germany to encourage companies to expand and invest in Michigan.

The democratic governor has received a lot of criticism over the state's sluggish economy.

Part of her trip includes a sit down with Diamler-Chrysler.

The automaker has struggled over the past few years, and there are reports they are looking to sell the Chrysler division.

While she is gone, Governor Granholm faces some opposition here at home.

TV ads criticizing the governor's proposed 2% tax on real estate commissions, movie tickets and other services will begin airing this week.
