Study Shows Strong Link Between Obesity and Soft Drinks

A review of 88-studies draws a strong link between soft drinks, obesity, and type-2 diabetes.

Researchers say it appears people are not making up for the extra calories from soft drinks by cutting back on other foods they eat.

Many studies found that as people drank more soda, the number of calories they consumed also rose.

The American Beverage Association points out that there are many different risk factors for obesity and diabetes, not just one food or beverage.
