There is a new Blossomtime queen reigning over southwest Michigan.
Miss Gobles, Cecilia Kovach was crowned Blossomtime queen Monday night at the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center.
Blossomtime is southwest Michigan’s oldest festival.
It started back in 1906 to honor and promote the region's fruit farming industry.
The royal court will reign over this year's festival and ride in the Grand Floral Parade on May 5th, which can be seen right here on WNDU.
You can read more about the Miss Blossomtime pageant in Tuesday’s (today’s) edition of the Herald Palladium.
