Police in southern Indiana think a man there did the unthinkable.
They say he may have intentionally flown a small plane into a house, killing himself and his eight year old daughter.
The crash happened in Bedford, about 20 miles south of Bloomington.
47-year-old Eric Johnson and his eight-year-old daughter Emily were in the plane.
They died when it slammed into Johnson's former mother-in-law's home.
Emily's mother went to police Tuesday morning to tell them her ex-husband had abducted her daughter.
That was about 45-minutes after the crash.
The official investigation into the crash could take up to a year.
