The latest group of people closing in on retirement age are closing in on their golden years in worse shape than their parents were.
Three new studies say the oldest baby boomers are not as physically fit as older generations were at their age.
The studies have been done by the national institutes of health over the last 15 years.
One disturbing finding is people who are nearing retirement now report much more pain and chronic health conditions.
They also have more drinking and psychological problems than their older peers.
Boomers are also more likely to struggle walking, climbing steps and getting out of a chair.
