Work on the new National RV Museum in Elkhart is cruising along.
But the museum is missing something; volunteers.
The museum, located on Executive Parkway, is in need of volunteers for various positions before it opens its doors later this month.
Volunteer shifts will last 4-hours and each person will receive an orientation on RV industry history and how the museum operates.
Al Hesselbart, a RV historian, said, “When we get up and running, this room we are in will portray the history of the RV industry from its very early beginnings, about 1913 up through the 1970s, in chronological order showing how technology changed over the years in the RV industry.”
The building will also include a convention center and its library will house the largest collection of RV literature in the world.
Those interested in volunteering are asked to call (574) 293-2344.
