What medicine should your child take when he or she is in pain?
There is a new study out comparing pain relievers to see which one is most effective for children.
Researchers in Canada studied kids who were being treated in emergency rooms.
They had the children rate their pain after taking ibuprofen, acetaminophen or codeine.
Ibuprofen was found to be the most effective in treating broken bones and sprains.
The drug is commonly sold generically and under the brand names Motrin and Advil.
