The newest Associate Justice of the US Supreme Court is giving this year's commencement speech at Saint Mary's College.
Justice Samuel Alito will speak at graduation on May 19th.
Saint Mary's president Carol Ann Mooney says it is an honor an a privilege for Alito to speak at commencement.
Mooney has known Alito for years and the two once served on a federal advisory committee on appellate court procedures.
Alito joined the court last year replacing Justice Sandra day O’Connor.
