Friday mornings commute was not any better for drivers on along a stretch of the bypass.
Two semis and a pick-up were involved in an accident that happened around 8AM this morning, again, between the State Road 2 and Mayflower exits.
Thankfully, nobody was injured, but some drivers were stuck until the mess was cleaned up.
Indiana State Police Trooper John Hirschler stated, “It really wasn't snowing that much it was more the wind out here, whatever the state highway put down, iced right back up, snow blowing across the road, it was just a sheet of ice.”
Police say in some spots, wind was gusting up to 45 miles per hour, with less than 75-feet of visibility.
