An Indiana man is in jail for apparently trying to cash a check from God.
21-year-old Kevin Russell is being held at the Lake County jail.
He tried to cash a check on Monday for $50,000.
However, the check he presented to the teller was signed "King Savior, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Servant."
Police say he was carrying several other checks with similar signatures.
Russell was charged with attempted check fraud, intimidation and resisting law enforcement.
