Vitamin D During Pregnancy


Also in today's medical moment a prenatal supplement might not give pregnant women enough of a Vitamin D boosts, according to new research.

University of Pittsburgh doctors examined 400 pregnant women 90-percent of whom were taking multivitamin supplements.

Researchers say more than 80-percent of African American participants and nearly half of white women had low levels of Vitamin D.

The results were especially true for women who lived in the Northern part of the country.
