Once again, voters in the River Valley school district say "no" to a tax hike.
It is the second time in less than a year that a tax levy proposal has been turned down.
According to our reporting partners at the herald-palladium, the money would have been used to pay for building improvements including a new elementary school, renovations to the high school and new school buses.
River valley is dealing with a 5-hundred-thousand dollar budget shortfall and that means cuts could be in the school district's future.
