Around 15-hundred residents in Michigan are stranded thanks to old man winter.
No one has been able to come or go from Harsens Island since Friday.
The island is located in the St. Clair River, near Detroit.
The coast guard has been trying to cut a pathway through the ice, so the ferry can get through but so far, no luck.
