So here we have the mini-sweeper, As Seen On TV, and it claims it picks up like magic. And if you've got crumbs on the table, dog hair on your couch, or maybe you have some debris on your carpet, this is supposed to sweep it up and, as it says, pick it up like magic.
Basically, you have this kid of clear dome that is the receptacle for whatever you're going to be sweeping up, and if you flip it over you se it's got some wheels and it spins and these brushes, as you move it across the surface, are supposed to sweep up whatever the debris is and store it right here.
So here we have some bread crumbs on this table cloth and I’m going to se if I can pick them up by magic, by just rolling them over with this mini sweeper. It worked quite nicely. The table cloth is free of any crumbs, and then you just turn this thing over, and there you have the crumbs, and you just dump them out.
Let's see what kind of job it does on carpet. It's certainly not as good a job as say a Hoover or something like that or a high suction 12-amp vacuum, but if you were to walk into this room and look at this carpet, you wouldn't notice anything. So, again, the mini sweeper does a nice job on the carpet.
How about something nasty like dog hair on a white love seat? How will it do? Let's check it out.
Not great. It got a lot of the dog hair up but not all of it. And while the mini sweeper didn't do that great of a job on the dog hair on the couch, it did a decent job. I think overall the mini sweeper is a pretty good tool for say picking up crumbs and stuff off the table or if you've got a spot of crumbs or debris on the carpet. So, while it's not 100%, for what you pay for it I’m going to say the mini sweeper deserves the thumbs up.
