The Indiana House also approved a bill today to help fund local road and street projects.
The money would come from 60-million dollars in interest from the Indiana Toll Road lease today's vote was 51-to-48.
The bill is one of many the general assembly will consider before tomorrow's deadline for passing legislation to the other chamber.
Other bills still awaiting votes include raising cigarette taxes by 25 cents per pack and privatizing the Hoosier Lottery.
