Postal Rates on the Rise Again

The cost of mailing a letter could go up again.

A postal regulatory commission has recommended a two cent increase, from 39-to 41-cents.

It's also urging the post office to establish a so-called forever stamp.

The stamp would not show a denomination, and would be good for mailing bills and letters permanently, even if the rates go up.

The postal service must now decide whether to accept the commission's recommendation.
