There is some disappointing news for people who have been taking garlic to help their heart.
A new study says the only thing it changes is the way your breath smells.
Doctors had more than 160 people take a garlic supplement, raw garlic or a placebo.
They found no difference in bad cholesterol levels between the three groups.
The only thing they did discover the group eating raw garlic had bad breath and body odor.
Experts say garlic may still be beneficial for other conditions, like atherosclerosis.
However, after this study, it doesn't appear to have an effect on cholesterol.
