Paying tolls on the Indiana Toll Road will soon get easier.
The operator of the road expects to have electronic tolling up and running by the end of the year.
The ITR Concession Group says it's awaiting final approval form the EZ Pass Interagency Group.
The 40 million dollar electronic toll collection project was mandated by the toll road lease.
Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels finalized that lease back in June. And, there's an added plus.
A driver with an EZ Pass can drive on any of the member tollways and receive one account statement.
