Peanut Butter Related Salmonella Illnesses in Indiana and Michigan

The Centers for Disease Control now says 14 people in Indiana and seven in Michigan tested positive for the strain of salmonella linked to Peter Pan Peanut Butter.

This happened as Conagra says the recall will cost millions of dollars.

The company says it will cost between 50 and 60 million dollars to recall the peanut butter made in a Georgia plant.

Federal officials linked the peanut butter made in Slyvester, Georgia to a salmonella outbreak.

The CDC says 329 people so far have come down with salmonella.

Just a reminder, if you have Peter Pan or Great Value Peanut Butter with the code 2111 printed on the lid, throw the jar away.
