Indiana's Second District Congressman spent Wednesday morning talking to eighth graders at John Young Middle School in Mishawaka.
Joe Donnelly has been touring the district this week talking about his ideas, and what he can do for the people in the district.
Wednesday he talked to the students about Iraq, his budget concerns, and something on the minds of the kids and their parents, education. “We want to make it so that there's more affordable college tuition, that the jobs, the good jobs here in the community, don't go overseas. So, that we have great educational opportunities, and great employment opportunities here. Because there's nothing better than for everyone that's becoming grandparents would know, their kids are here and their grandkids are here as well,” Representative Donnelly explains.
Donnelly was asked who he rooted for during the Super Bowl.
He got a mixed reaction when he said his team was the Bears.
