State representative Craig Fry says he will not run for Mayor of Mishawaka.
According to a news release from Fry, polling had indicated he would easily win the primary and beat incumbent Jeff Rea in November.
However, after careful consideration, Fry took his name out of the race.
He says he understands a race of that magnitude requires lots of negative attacks and, he was not ready to put his family or the Rea family through that kind of campaign.
