Charlie Weis commented on the BCS Bowl game decision that Notre Dame will play LSU in the Big Easy.
An unnamed juror collapsed during testimony at the Weis Trial in Boston Tuesday morning. The juror began moaning while a defense expert witness was on the stand. Doctors in the courtroom, including the two defendants, helped the juror before he was taken away in an ambulance.
Weis is suing Doctors Charles Ferguson and Richard Hodin. His suit says the two failed to recognize life threatening conditions after Weis' gastric bypass surgery in 2002. Once Ferguson and Hodin helped the juror, Weis' laywer asked for a mistrial. The judge in the case agreed and ended the trial.
