This weekend, it's all about big hair and even bigger music at South Bend's Morris Performing Arts Center.
For three days "Hairspray" the musical hit the stage at the Morris and the last show wrapped up this evening.
Set in 1962, the humorous musical features some rockin' melodies and the story follows the trials of Tracy Turnblad, a plus-size girl who turns into a teen celebrity.
Hairspray is a Tony-award winning hit popular among many different ages.
Michael Harding, President of the Broadway Theater League says, "It's been going great real excited about the show the performance been outstanding weather has held off so great crowds a lot of enthusiasm and the show and performances!"
Next month, the musical "Chicago" will role into town and it starts on March 23rd.
