The race for Indiana’s top spot is not for another year and a half but it already has some people talking.
Indianapolis Mayor Bart Peterson announced he will not be a candidate for governor in 2008.
Some analysts had talked about him possibly making a run on the democratic ticket.
Meantime republican Mitch Daniels has not said whether he will seek a second term as governor.
