Christian White and other members of the National Tour of Hairspray met with kids in South Bend today.
A native of South Bend, White stars as Seawee Stubbs in the hit musical.
He told students at Wilson Primary Center Boys and Girls Club, “There are a lot of different paths you can take to achieve your goals. The important thing is to never give up.”
"These kids are our future,” says White. “It's going to take people coming back, really giving back to the community and saying things to inspire these kids, cause they really need leaders and mentors."
The musical Hairspray will be at Morris Performing Arts Center in South Bend through Sunday.
