A community is rallying around a baby girl who needs a liver transplant.
5 month old Kyla Fryer was born with a birth defect and she is now waiting for a liver transplant.
Her parents, Shaun and Sheena Fryer of Lagrange, say she only gets about an hour of sleep a night and spends most of her time in the hospital.
Doctors say her chances of receiving the transplant are strong but the parents say they need help paying for the surgery.
“We have the 2 other kids and transportation to Indianapolis its not cheap and from what they told us.. the liver transplant alone is going to cost five hundred thousand dollars” says Sheena.
If you would like to help, there will be a breakfast fundraiser for the Fryer's this weekend.
It's Saturday morning February 17th at the LaGrange Volunteer Fire Department.
It starts at 6 a-m and goes until 11 a-m. Everything is based on donations.
