Nap Taking May Reduce Risk for Heart Disease in Adults

Kids do it, so why shouldn't adults?

A study of over 20,000 Greek men and women found those who took regular midday naps had a 37% chance of dying from heart disease.

The benefit was even more profound among working men.

Researchers say the stress-relieving consequences of taking a nap contribute to its protective effect, but more studies are needed.
