The South Bend unemployment office was flooded by folks who did not get their unemployment benefits.
Several people contacted Newscenter 16 today about the problem.
Terry McCann says his unemployment check was supposed to be deposited in his account this morning, but it was not.
So he went to the Workone office, and officials there did straighten things out.
Terry McCain says, "Workone center changed the system for going on line and applying for your vouchers each week. Because it's worded so differently, everyone has clicked the wrong number, clicked the wrong tab on yes and no answers and because they did they're holding their checks all week."
Workforce development officials in Indianapolis acknowledge the confusion and say they are putting more detailed instructions on their website tonight.
They say they will correct the applications for those who answered incorrectly but in the meantime, there is a toll-free hotline you can call at 1-800-891-6499.
