Conceiving in the Spring May Contribute to Premature Births

New research shows the time of year could play a major role in the type of pregnancy you have.

Researchers in Pittsburgh analyzed records of more than 75,000 women over a 10 year period.

They say preterm birth was slightly more common among women who conceived in the spring than any other season.

It is unclear why.

But, researchers think springtime allergies may play a role.
