Well if you are looking for a place you child can go when schools canceled look no further.
YMCA in South Bend has a program called S.O.Y.I or "school’s out, Y's in".
The program runs from 6-30 in the morning, until six at night and is for children 5-to-15.
The "Y" has a number of activities your kids can participate in including swimming, racquetball, and arts and crafts.
“This is a need in the community when schools are closed, it provides an activity for kids to do,” says Karin Senn, Youth and Family program director.
The programs are 25-dollars per child and kids need to bring along lunch, a swimsuit and a towel.
