A South Bend man accused in the murders of four homeless men made his initial court appearance today.
Daniel Sharp pleaded not-guilty and police say Sharp confessed that he and another man killed the four others in a dispute over scrap metal.
The second man charged in the case, Randy Lee Reeder, is being held in Berrien County.
He waived extradition today and will be returned to St. Joseph County within the week.
Both men face four counts of murder when the killings happened between December 18th and 21st.
According to police, the victims had stolen salvaged scrap metal that both sharp and Reeder wanted to sell.
Police say the bodies were left in an abandoned home for several days before being moved to manholes.
