Slippery roads prove to be dangerous as two separate slide-offs cause one major accident.
In the end four people were sent to the hospital when the crash happened on the Indiana Toll Road near exit 83.
A pick-up truck slid-off the road and into the median then, 15 minutes later a jeep carrying a family of three including a small baby, slid-off the road and crashed into the pick-up truck.
Indiana state police says they have been answering calls all day involving slide-offs on the toll road.
Indiana State Trooper Tim Moon says, "We’ve had numerous accidents, numerous slide offs, right now it's basically a mess."
Again, the four people have been taken to the hospital and police say their injuries are not life-threatening.
